Our Services

The Web and Digital Communications and team is part of Marketing and Communications and is responsible for administering and governing web and digital communications solutions for the NMSU system.

This includes: web design and development, email campaigning, web metrics evaluation, and more.

What We Do

  • Assist developing websites
  • Administer NMSU web content management system (CMS)
  • Govern web and digital communications standards and policy
  • Manage NMSU web marketing campaigns
  • Oversee strategic web-based communications

Who We Support

  • All NMSU academic and administrative organizations, including NMSU community colleges.

Services NOT Provided 

  • Development of Web and Mobile Applications.
  • Management of web infrastructure and applications (server hardware, web server software, etc.)
  • Develop personal websites for faculty, staff and students

 

Student organization websites are not supported by our area. Individuals should contact the Department of Student Life for assistance with the Crimson Connection web solution.

Personalized faculty, staff and student web pages, outside of what is profiled in the NMSU People site or on related web pages, are not supported by our area. Personal web hosting is available on the NMSU private network provided by ICT Systems Administration. Sites we administer

The university web presence has been created by many different members of the university community. To identify the website owner, please contact the webmaster or primary contact information on the site in question. In most cases the WebComm team can assist in identifying website administrators by request.
