In 2023, NMSU adopted Funnelback as the enterprise web search tool. It offers a simplified search experience and will only crawl NMSU websites which will eliminate any additional, irrelevant websites or content previously crawled by Google Search.
In addition, the search function will crawl all types of formats – websites, social media, degree program pages, the NMSU newsroom, Crimson Connection and content housed on Inside NMSU.
